Our company
history
From KE Plastik GmbH in Obermenzing to a full-service company with more than 50 employees in Untermeitingen.
1971
KE Plastik GmbH founded on 1 October 1971 by Peter Krupanek Sr. in Obermenzing, Verdistraße
1974
Move to Gröbenzell, Am Weidegrund 10
2002
Krupanek jun. Stanz- und Umformtechnik founded in Maisach, Frauenstraße 32 – production of metal goods for the catering industry
2003
First plastics production at the Maisach site alongside stamping and forming
2006
Merger of KE Plastik GmbH with Krupanek
2007
Relocation of plastics processing and mould making to Untermeitingen, Messerschmittstraße 14
2008
Expansion of the mould shop and hiring of the first apprentice precision mechanic

Provider of 3D printing technology as one of the first service providers in the region

Modernisation of the machinery with BOY injection moulding machines

Company relocation within Untermeitingen to Daimlerstraße 1. Halls and production areas are expanded from 620 m² to 1,600 m²

Commissioning of our new BOY 2C S for multi-component injection moulding
Takeover of production from the brush manufacturer Bürstenfabrik Jahn and start of our own brush production

22 March 2021: Peter Krupanek Senior passes away
Expansion of the mould shop with a 5-axis milling machine and a new 350-tonne injection moulding machine

Capacity increased to more than 50 employees
Introduction of a new ERP system
Expansion of the print shop with two further pad printing machines capable of multi-colour printing

Expansion of the machinery: all-electric 240-tonne injection moulding machine and servo-hydraulic 400-tonne injection moulding machine

Why Made in Germany?
Because a plastic part is only as good as the path along which it is created. With us, that path is short: development, mould making, production and assembly are located at one site in Untermeitingen – between Augsburg and Landsberg am Lech in Bavaria.

Designer, toolmaker and machine setter work under one roof. We discuss changes with the part in hand – not across time zones.

Your mould stays within reach
The mould stays on our premises. Corrections, maintenance and repairs are handled by our own mould shop – without containers, customs or waiting times.

Your know-how stays protected
Drawings, data and samples do not leave our company. We treat your enquiry in strict confidence.

Deadlines you can plan with
No sea freight, no minimum quantities per container. You call off the quantity you need – and you know when it will arrive.

Our own quality assurance, sampling together with you, final inspections and functional tests – traceable by serial number on request.
