Rapid prototyping at Krupanek

With in-house design, development, mould making, 3D printing, modern machinery and an experienced team, we accompany you from the first prototype to series production.

01

In-house design & 3D printing

From the CAD model to the printed part, everything stays with us. On request, we create your CAD data.

02

FDM & SLA

Two processes, a wide choice of materials (e.g. ABS, PLA, resin) – suitable for functional part or design model.

03

Fast samples

For tests, trade fairs and presentations: prototypes up to 800 × 800 × 1000 mm, fast and quality-checked.

Technologies & processes for prototypes

For our rapid prototyping we rely on two proven 3D printing processes that deliver precise results depending on the requirement – from the sturdy functional part to the highly detailed design model.

And because mould making and injection moulding are under the same roof, the step from prototype to series is not a change of supplier with us, but simply the next appointment.

Processes

Two processes, one goal: your part in your hand

Depending on the requirement, we print sturdy and large – or fine and highly detailed.

Fused Deposition Modelingmax. 800 × 800 × 1000 mm

Fused Deposition Modeling

FDM Robust, suitable for everyday use, versatile

In the FDM process, thermoplastic materials such as ABS or PLA are applied layer by layer. Ideal for functional components that need to be mechanically resilient and durable. Even larger prototypes up to 800 × 800 × 1000 mm can be produced economically.

  • Particularly sturdy and durable parts
  • Wide choice of materials
  • Ideal for fit and load tests
  • Cost-efficient for larger components
Stereolithographymax. 110 × 110 × 150 mm

Stereolithography

SLA Fine, precise, with an eye for detail

Stereolithography enables particularly smooth surfaces and delicate structures. Liquid resin is cured layer by layer using a UV laser. Perfect for visual models, design samples or complex geometries up to 110 × 110 × 150 mm.

  • Very high level of detail
  • Smooth, aesthetic surfaces
  • Ideal for presentations & design reviews
  • Suitable for small, complex components

How we work together

Five steps, one point of contact. You always know where your project stands.

  1. 1

    Enquiry & consultation

You send us your enquiry by e-mail, telephone or form.

  2. 2

    CAD

Send us your 3D data or have your CAD files created directly by our team.

  3. 3

    Process & material

Together we select the right 3D printing process (FDM or SLA) and the best material for your model.

  4. 4

    3D printing & quality check

We produce your prototype using state-of-the-art technology. In-house, fast and quality-checked.

  5. 5

    Delivery & support

Your finished model is dispatched directly or is ready for collection. We remain your contact for any adjustments.
